Pumpkin oil - Vlaj

Vlaj farm is located in Bodonci (municipality Puconci) on the slopes of Goričko, where the hills and valleys shake hands. Currently, the farm is managed by the third generation. The landowner Vlado lives on the farm with his wife Danica, daughter Janja and her boyfriend Mitja, and so does granny Zlatica. In the past, the farm was focused on livestock farming and agriculture. After 2011, livestock breeding has been abandoned, so their current basic activity is agriculture.

Vlaj farm is mainly involved in the production and sale of pumpkin oil. The supplementary activity on the farm for sale of oil and other fats has been registered since 2011. They process 7 hectares of fields, they also own some meadows and forests. Their main annual crops are pumpkins.

They offer pumpkin seed oil, roasted pumpkin seeds and walnut oil and also a variety of gift packages with home-made products, especially useful as a gift for your loved ones or business partners. It goes without saying that the contents of each package are tailored to the customers' wishes.

They received several golden awards for their pumpkin oil. In 2016 the Vlaj farm received the right to use the collective trademark 'Krajinski park Goričko'. In year 2018, at the 2st international Alps-Adriatic pumpkin seed oil exhibition in Varaždin, 184 samples of pumpkin oil received a golden award. There was 45 samples in exhibition from Slovenia, and award for the best pumpkin seed oil in exhibition was their oil.
