Cheese Diary - Farm Kosi

Our farm lies in the heart of village Ključarovci near Ljutomer in Prlekija. Its tradition spans over 140 years. Each generation contributed something of their own, each time striving for something newer and better. We have a mixed farm, combining farming and agriculture. We wanted to enrich the milk we produce, so we arranged an automatic milk machine in Ljutomer in the year 2009. This gained our farm more recognisability and our new customers kept asking us about other milk products. That’s how the idea of a small cheese dairy farm, where home-made products would be sold, sprouted. The idea matured in 2017 when we started gathering then documentation; today we offer our customers fresh yoghurt, cottage cheese, butter, sour cream, soft cheese and grill cheese. We are happy to have regular customers who are happy to return and appreciate the effort we put in our daily-fresh products.
